Love is a Funny Thing

by Rebecca Tull   May 10, 2008

Love is a funny thing that's what I heard before but it keeps chasing me, taunting me but I don't want that anymore.

My daddy said when you don't know what to do, do nothing at all but what happens when you slip and eventually fall?

To fast to stop, can't catch a grip it's to late for for I have slipped. Love is a funny thing that's what I heard before I'm welcoming it to my door.

Because I can't help but to get tantalized by my baby's kiss, or when he leaves me for the night how he's so missed.

He melts my body with just the thought he raises my spirits with just his smile he makes me yearn him forever not just for a little while.

Love is a funny thing that's what I heard before, now the door is open I'm ready for what's in store.
