The Story of a Teenage Girl

by Candy 3y3s   May 11, 2008

She was another teenage girl
A girl with another broken heart
A girl that cried herself to sleep,
Every piece of her was broken apart.

And then finally one day the light shone down on her,
As her Prince Charming walked through the door
She knew instantly that she never needed to feel down,
She didnt need to cry anymore.

He used to love her with all his heart,
Tell her the things she wanted to hear
She loved him from every beat of her heart
Always wishing for him to be near.

And then just like that one day
He whispered the words Im sorry
She knew all her happiness would fade again
She was suddenly out of all the glory.

But this time she promised to herself
That no guy is worth the tears
She doesnt need any guy
To help her face her fears.

She told herself shed be better off,
She covered all her pain and said she was fine
But deep down in her heart she knew
She was lying from time to time
