Flower pedals on the floor

I hold the stem with my finger tips,
Spin it round and round,
I slowly pick the pedals off,
They fall down to the ground.

Does he love me?
I will know,
7 pedals left to go.

I pick one off,
It drifts away,
Yes he loves me, he will stay.

6 more petals till the truth,

As i pull a petal lose.

It says hes leaving very soon,

I quickly shake the petal away,
Please oh please don't go away,

5 more petals left to pull,
Until i find my destined truth,

Does he love me?
We will see,
The petal says were meant to be.

4 more petals to unmask,
Does he love me, will it last?

I rip the petal from the stem,
It says that he will love again.

3 more petals, its getting close,
Will he love me the very most.

It tells me he will love until we are both dead,

It says that he will fill my life with hope,
and help me live again

2 more petals on the stem,
will this terror ever end?

The petal says that he will not cry,
The day that he will say goodbye.

1 more petal on the stem,
waiting to be pulled,

I can not take this anymore,
The pedal must be heard.

The petal whispers in my ear,
That he will love me most,

The petal says his love is true,
the petal always know.

I let the stem drift away, carried by the wind,
I had my answer all along i just had to look within.
