Hold the Photo

by katrina   May 12, 2008

Hold the photo and skim it back,
Reveal your feelings, within your sack.
Freeze the moment and let it go,
Rewind full speed, but let me know.
We are frozen but then we're not,
In the future, the photo stops,
The memory elusive, so skim it back,
Expose your heart all in tact.
Focus in on all our flaws,
With x-ray vision right to our core.
Look at the foreground and behind,
Hold the photo, press rewind.
Fixated, but blurred in the same frame,
Symmetry off, and it drives me insane.
Hold the photo, up to the light,
See our future burning bright.
Camera clicks, movement held,
Hold the photo, I think I fell.
