The friendly cascade

by sneha   May 12, 2008

Contended with her white poncho,
She rushes down...
Not missing a single crevice, she moves.
With the pat of the rocks,
Her melody at once turns loud;
Her loud song and vibrant mood
Ring in the air,
Reassuring man of nature's care!
That's the white miracle-the friendly cascade!
Flanked by her neighbour-the hovering branches of the erstwhile trees;
Still astounded by their new autumnal wear!
They seem to say to each other..Is it you?
Acknowledging later of the Creator's play with color and hue!
Dazzled, they peep into the crystal clear water,
Adorned with their new colors..they say..All's fair!
Though joy to the colourful trees the cascade will share...
Alas! ever white will remain the cascade's hair!!
