Cloud

She was on a cloud, drifting thru her dreams
Her heart was so happy, bursting at the seams.
He gave her the ladder, helped her climb so high
Then pushed her off, waving goodbye!
Falling down, her heart shattered in the sky
She finally knew what it felt like to die!
Can't hold on, but you'll never let go
Screaming how she loved him so!
Wishing she had been more cautious with her heart
Her tears had started falling, dripping into shards!
She hit rock bottom with a crash
Her whole world shattered like fragile glass!
She made a promise to herself that night
Never again would she climb so high!
You walked by, she glanced over her shoulder
She felt her heart's remains growing closer!
Now you hold the ladder, she can see the cloud
She's trying hard to keep her feet on the ground!
Could you push her off and wave goodbye
Or will you let her stay by your side?
Can she trust you with her sewn up heart
Or will you push her and watch her fall apart?
Deep down she believes you're better than the last
So everyday she tries to forget her past!
