Bitter good bye

by Shadeflower   May 14, 2008

Once was sacred,
now is lost.
Trying to fight this hatred,
my soul at cost.

I miss you so much,
the tears I can’t fend.
Still longing for your touch,
I need it for this wound to mend.

You said we lived a lie,
I thought we had all to gain.
Now I want this heart to die,
don’t want to feel this pain.

We were lovers,
we were friends.
You promised to keep my heart safe,
now the heartbeat ends.

We said forever,
you left me like a fleeing dove.
My worst mistake ever,
good bye my love.
