Mothers day poem

by Liz Suffecool   May 15, 2008

Happy mothers day dear mother
cause your one of a kind like you theres no other
I couldn't have picked a better mother if i picked you myself
cause your always there when I need some help

You were there when I scrapped my knees
you taught me my manners like always to use please
You gave me everything I could ever ask for
for this you I adore

You were there when I couldn't sleep at night
to tell me it was just a dream and kiss my forehead and tell me it'd be alright
You were there those times at the hospital
and I couldn't ask for more

You were there for the first broken heart
and you told me you were sorry my world fell apart
you were there through all the fights with friends
and even when I was wrong you'd always give in
