FREEDOM BIRDS

by tonya   May 17, 2008

Admire the bluebird
How is it to be free?
Invisible to the sky,
Creating your identity.

Soar haughtily through the skies
Eagles don't have this much preen.

O! Bluebird!
How is to sing everyday?
Make your own tune and whistle away?

To just open up a window,
To willingly fly?
How envious you appear to my naked eye.

Wings glisten in the shadow
Of our newly lit sky.
How does it feel Dear Bluebird,
To be the pilot's ally?

We follow our own path,
But you, you lead this spree;
I admire the Bluebird
And it's life of being free.
