Shy Girl

So there was this girl
And she had a crush on this guy
Every time they touched, he lips did a slight curl
But she was always too shy.

By the time she told him how she felt
He said it was too late
She could feel herself melt
He already had a date

She went home and cried
She stayed in her rooms all that night
She just tried and tried
To get over him, with all her might

She moved on and met another guy
She gave him her heart
This time she wasn't too shy
But he broke her heart, and he life fell apart

She went to her first
And told him what happened
And how she'd been hurt
His mood suddenly saddened

Two months later
The girl was with the guy
And couldn't be happier
It's hard to believe that they were both so shy.
