Wandering Visions

My spirit, exiled from the body,
searched for the pair of red eyes;
is the sun dead?
Or I just never actually woke.

Now wandering the world,
without my sense of touch.
Images of black and white
nomadic like vague horror shows.

Sultry essence douses senses,
shadows haunt weary mind
as frantic impulses combust hues
smeared across somber sky.

Region of earth sternly refined
as roots of turmoil merges
above the ground's skin,
glittery blackness enclosed my lashes.

Unseen beauty envelopes me
Shapeless, colourless visions
Devouring my senses, my reason
Enticing and teasing my sanity

Like a philospher trapped in a magic show.
Fantasy negates the sane mind,
filtering imaginary riddles
to expose a true adrift soul.
