The love i lost

The love i lost was no ordinary love
he had a twinkle in his eye
and a smile that i loved
i know he loved me by the way he said it
when he said it he sounded like he was about to cry
i would hold him in my arms
he would hold me back
i was about to have his baby
but got a disturbing call
he has been brutally murdered
and his brother did it
it felt like it was my fault
because his brother knew me first
i cried and cried
but that didn't do justice
my mother tried to comfort me
but did no good
i love i love him
but he did not return
i now have an new love
he is the lost love but in another ones body
