The "Wedding"

by Rican Chemistry   May 21, 2008

In a few days the show goes on
Just a few days till the big lie
That walk down the isle where she gets to smile
Into your big, lying, eyes

She wanted the flowers, the cake, the feast
She wanted all eyes on her
If only she knew what you and me do
Would she be at the altar?

You fight everyday, and disrespect each other
Yet invitations went out to celebrate
Your so called happy union
10 years to reinstate

What a charade, a lie, a ball
To think that this will fix it all
And after the wedding when money is spent
The mask would surely fall

For your still a player, a lier, a cheat
She still want more and more she'll need
But maybe that makes you two a perfect pair
And why it is you both agreed

But the show must go on without delay
I'm sorry I meant your wedding
I wish you two will last forever
But come one who are we really playing
