The Jigsaw That Joins Us

by Lillye   May 22, 2008

I lean into your shoulder and my body fits yours
Just like a jigsaw. We fit together, arm in arm
Hand in hand, a love not one can understand
We walk together, almost as one.

Our lips lock together, your skin touching
Mine softly, subtle movements making my
Skin tingle, minds jingle. And
We walk together, almost as one.

Our hands hold together, the truths behind
Our eyes, the pain behind our tears.
The stitches in our skin, the sorrow in our palms
Yet, we walk together, almost as one.

And so our eyes glance, glitter and sparkle
Into each others. Our souls joined
Whole as the sun, which sets sound fully in front of us
Still, we walk together, almost as one.
