what a heart touching piece you have penned. This comes right from the depths of you heart.

Through eyes united two lives had begun
Nary a word e're slipped from the tongue
Weathered hands that once consoled
Clasped together with stories untold

When 2 people have been together this long they don't have to speak. This brought tears to my eyes. What a wonderful gift this poem will be to all those who loved Wally's dad.

Hopes of future flee with each breath
Silent goodbyes as eyes close in death
Darkness fades, a new morn has broken
Unchain the night with words unspoken

This shows how much love they had between them...Their eyes spoke to each other. How beautiful yet so sad. You are all in my prayers.
