The SILENT War

by katrina   May 24, 2008

I can't be the person you hate for no reason,
I won't be the casualty in your silent war.
I've been here for you and I've committed no treason,
But yet you try to dig out my core.

Don't give me that look of utter contempt,
I've seen it inflict a harsh sting.
How dare you accuse me of being pretend,
When it's you who pretends to falsely sing.

I used to love your fearless nature but now it's raising alarms,
Cos you've turned on me, I was your neighbour what makes you think I'd cause you harm?
I refuse to be called Hitler, when I never tried to control.
It was you that decided to be bitter, when you tried ruin
my all.

I won't be the person who obliviously loses,
I won't take part in your game.
Cos this silent war makes people chose,
And I refuse to let you win.

I was willing to put everything aside,
But you kept lying compulsively.
But now you've gone to far to hide,
And I will win this honorably.
