I'll be right by your side

You've always been there for me
no matter what
my pain you could always see

our friendship blossomed from day one
and time and time again
we'd take our walks in the bright morning sun

still strong to this day
our promise not broken
by each others sides we will stay

you've been my rock through thick and thin
the tears and the joy
whatever life had to bring

and now you need me
and i'll be right by your side
as your pain i can also see

this poem is dedicated to my best friend annabelle (suicidal and runaway), she's always been there for me when i've needed her and now she needs me i'm right by her side
