Leandro (Prose, Finale)

by Debbie   May 26, 2008

The heavy rain poured down just in time to get rid of my evil deed. Drenched by now, I hurried back inside the barren house, musing over my thespian love and extraordinary life, when, much to my horrified amazement, on the mirror of the wall, I saw my own brooding reflection bearing such spectacular eyes of jade. Looking askance at my flimsy figure, I laughed quietly to myself when realization struck my face hard: I have green eyes! I had my heart on the right place not to grunt that my scream, when it emerged, seemed to belong to someone else.

...I carried the eyes of Leandro.
