Realizations

I guess I've fallen on some hard times,
the days just seem much longer,
I guess I took the fall a bit to quick,
but now as I've gotten older.

well I realize when life comes with a price,
then nothing really seems as expensive as,
the cuts and the bruises gained from a fight,
with your enemies and fears all through the night.

but at least I got you,
at least I got you, now.
I keep falling down,
but you're there to pick me up.

I guess I'm just one in a million,
I guess I'm just another dumb singer,
well this goes out to you, my love,
so give me a kiss because this feelig lingers.

    Do you ever have your band sing your poems? Cause they'd be amazing lyrics...and I know you know that cause you said you write to a beat :P This is great dear sir!

    This was a really good choice for lines to repeat, very well written, good point, and it's well recieved!
