What is love?

by Chase Bourdeaux   May 30, 2008

What is love, if not your name,
which haunts my tongue by night?
Every second, every day,
hearts beating without spite.

What is love, if not the wind,
which rustles through your hair?
Golden locks of beaming sun,
bouncing through the air.

What is love, if not your voice,
Which echoes in my ears?
A song so sweet, sudden spurts of joy,
could bring a man to tears.

What is love, if not your touch,
which lingers on my skin?
Fingers haunting, warm and burning,
every memory in.

What is love, if not what's wrong,
the question should be who.
What is love, you wish to know?
Love, my love, is you.
