You Knew

So many things to tell you
But how to get them out
I'll stand up on a mountain top
And show my feelings with a SHOUT

But a shout can be drowned out
My the shrieking of the wind
So my vow of love for you
Will be written in a letter that I'll send

But accidents can happen
And letters can get lost
Or you'll think it's junk mail
And it will just get tossed

I wrote this poem for you
And came to you to show
You read the poem and held me close
And said "Babe...I already know."
