Every time i look behind
i see his face
The face of a murderer
I could hear his laugh
I could hear her cry
I remember that night he killed her.

Every time i close my eyes i see them
Together in an alley
I see him holding her
Never letting her go
When i close my eyes tears fall down my face
I have no one to tell me its OK
The seasons are changing and nights grow colder
With no one to help me tell my story

I remember seeing her try to get away
Him telling her please don't walk away
please tell me you'll stay!
As she went to walk away he pulled her close to him and stabbed her
He laughed and let her fall
I remember telling her ill never let her fall
Ill stand with her forever but this
Was the time when she needed me
And i was not there for her.

When i close my eyes i see that bloody knife
I cant look back
I am to afraid he'll come after me
When i close my eyes i see her face
Tears fall to my feet
I just threw it away!!
I wanted to save
But i just killed
I just let her die
I just let her fall
