This angel weeps
This angel cries
This angel holds everything...
so deep inside.
Horrors have been seen.
Nightmares have come to be real.
Pain is something that this angel will always feel.
The memories refuse to fade.
The ones that matter most... don't usually stay.
The pain refuses to heal
...these problems won't go away.
There was no place for this distressed angel to go.
But then a simple boy came along,
And told her that his arms...
...is where she belonged.
He held her close.
He showed her he cared.
But to get involved...
she was so scared.
So many had held her back and pushed her down.
But to use that against him...
She couldn't... it wouldn't be fair.
It took some time... But she finally gave in.
It turned out...that it was the best thing she ever did.
Together they laughed.
Together they loved.
She was finally happy...
...after an entire life of being shoved.
He knows all her stories and all her secrets.
He knows about her past, and all of her regrets.
The poems he wrote
His stories he told.
His toughest angel,
is how she is known.
His toughest angel.
He doesn't know how she made it this far.
His toughest angel.
He knows her past is like a scar.
He told her that...
Angels don't feel pain.
She was proof that's not right.
It's not right because of what's she's been through,
and how much she's had to fight.
He's helped her be stronger.
She's learned to let things go.
Be if he left her...
She'd crumble again.
And things would go back to how they were.
