Cold Evening

by Bare My Paradox   Jun 4, 2008

Half awake, Half asleep
The night breaks as the day sleeps
he comes and gives me a hand to hold
somehow he opens the secrets untold
the warmth of his touch
sends chills down my spine
the depth of his voice
makes me wish he was mine
gazing into half darkness half light
going deeper and further into the night
silently whispering the things always unheard
so much to say just don't have words
its getting colder and darker but his warmth sustains
his touch so relieving healing all my pains
for a split second i hope all this is real
his breath on my ears is all i want to feel
his eyes sparkling with love
mine with tears
I wish he doesn't fulfill my fears
Though i cant say a word i want him to hear
Its becoming quiet, the noise dies out
the silence seems perfect, until my soul shouts out
He's taking me away, he's stopped my heartbeat
He's killing me softly as our hands meet
Spontaneously the moment is moving forward
The night has conquered, the day is murdered
so many emotions expressed though not a single word uttered
I wont go home, I just cant let go
The warmth and comfort of his arms is melting the snow
And even if its the last day of my life
My Love for you will never die
