The plot unfolds gradually in this poem when it is read slowly
I feel the flow is just right. The rhyme ends like a sad novel
Yet leaves me yearning for a trilogy

'I wrote it before six white pills
Went quickly to my head

A nice different take on lost love equalling death.
I'm not thrilled with the rhyme in the first stanza as it does not fit with the rest.
I had a bit of trouble with some your metre, perhaps too many "that"s or inconsistent sylables???????
I would change "silent" to "silenced", maybe, or something referring back to the "petrified" reference in the first stanza.
