Let It Die

She said she needed time to figure things out.
Not sure what that means what its all about.
I though her love was real, something id never doubt.
Now I'm standing here, her love I'm without.
My heart feels empty, not sure what to do.
That girls been my life, been there more then my crew.
She says lets be friends, lets not fight.
But when I think about it, it just don't feel right.
I toss and turn trying to learn how to stop the burn.
But the pain is deep, and little do I think, think about sleep.
So these days I'm trying to move on, trying to stay strong.
Never do I think it was something I did wrong.
I was there for that girl through thick and thin.
I'd do anything for her at the drop of a pin.
I was the only one that could make her laugh when she wanted to cry.
Now all my friends just tell me let it die.
