This one caught me a little off guard. Not what I had expected from reading other writes of yours.

However, it did hit a chord with me. I felt
boyish charm through your words ... seeking, wanting, afraid of rejection, yet still dreaming and yearning.

I stumbled once reading the first time, and again the second time. The last word of the first stanza throws it off for me. So in reading through it again, no pun intended, I changed the word "through" to "though" and it went smoother.

The last stanza? A major hit!
