A Cliche Indignant Teenage Love Poem

by claire   Jun 9, 2008

Not good enough for any of them
But good enough for me
I could be perfect and rich
I'd still him to be the one
Making me happy

They see the gait
I see the time
They see him as wrong
I see him as my rhyme

They judge and judge
They shoot me down
But one of these days
They won't be around

Their double standards
Don't mean a thing
So I'm ditching them
Maybe he'll really like me
Even when I sing =)
