The Love, The Loss, The Light

by Anaisthitos   Jun 11, 2008

It's not hard to slaughter the days faith sought to be fair.
It's not easy to live on the days where negativity is expelled through the gaps between the fingers of destiny.
It's not worthwhile to think about your melancholy and most often, the past.

And when you find someone who can help you piece together the joy and rip apart the negativity, you have found your every reason, and the content for the rest of your life.
But when you lose that girl, and your life goes back to the dejected pit it once was,
you feel you failed, you feel you suffer, you feel you will never live again
and in that moment, when that other is gone, is when you need her the most.

But see, destiny works in mysterious ways.
When you suffer and are flailing in utter torture
when you are close to giving in to the dark threat of the devil and demons from hell
right when you are on the edge of throwing it all away,
you look.
And you'll find a light.

And one day you'll see that that light can overcome all the darkness.
That light will make you forget about the loss and rejection and have once faced.
That light will guide you into a life well lead by the faiths.
That light will take the place of what once was.
And it becomes what is.

You are my light.
