Love is a wonderful thing

The silent screams within long to be heard.
Everyone around me doesn't speak as loud,
I just want to yell and break through the ice.
Make myself be heard, but something is holding me in.

Trapped behind class doors, you can't see out, but they can see in.
What is going on behind those doors, a world I long to see.

Temptation arrives as I fight it's powerful grip,
it holds on putting up a fight.
I can't let it win, can't let fright be my beholder.
I have to break through make it to the other side.

I start to pound on the doors, hoping someone can hear me.
Everyone around me looks at me coldly as they start to close in around me.
I try to scream, but nothing comes out, they take me down.

I'm not giving up this fight, I can't let them win.
Thrown against the door I hear a crack,
I smile as blood tinkles down my face as I see the looks on the other's faces.

It all fades away when the pull me back in.
I can't escape, but I'm not giving up; tomorrow will be another day.
Another day for me to fight from frights deadly grasp
and escape to my freedom.
