Just Like Me

by Parker Pulliam   Jun 11, 2008

I used to think you needed me,
to help you become who you're supposed to be.
So I loved you and cared for you,
in spite of the things you do.
I heard you out and helped you through,
in spite of the things you do.

Afraid to show you're alliance to me,
terrified someone will see,
the you you've shown to me.

You attack me for others to see,
to prove you're not, Just Like Me.

Nice poem, One bit of advice though, It was a little short, I would have enjoyed a longer version with a story to it. Comment back buddy.
