Numb

by Another Lost Hero   Jun 12, 2008

Time creeps by,
none of this is real,
I'm walking through life blind,
it all seems so surreal,
i am so tired, i don't know what to do,
and everything is numb,
all i think about is you,

wont you rescue me,
from this numbness sweeping in,
save me from this senseless life,
let me let you in,

she falls slowly,
to the comfort of her bed,
she drifts away to sleep,
it clears her throbbing head,
the steps come slowly,
across the bedroom floor,
her mother looks at her and cries,
she cant take it any more,

wont you rescue me,
from this numbness sweeping in,
save me from this senseless life,
let me let you in,
save me from the world we live in,
the empty lies,
the loneliness,
take me away,
take me away.
