Painful Love

by Josh   Jun 15, 2008

We walk late at night,
and stroll about the town.
I wish it would last forever,
wish you were mine.

We have known each other so long
from the earliest of ages,
I just want you to be mine.

I've been in your house,
seen you in your domain.
Your beauty hasn't faded one bit,
but I am lost at sea.

You have been in mine,
seen my flaws.
You call me a dork,
but you love it more and more.

I can make you mine,
I know it.
You can make me yours,
you already have.

My love for you grows
and my pains become too great
to bear.

I want you to be mine,
it hurts.
Wish I was with you,
it hurts.
Wish I could hold you,
it hurts oh-so bad.
Wish I could kiss you,
but never to be it seems.
