They say love is trustful, but we always get jealous.
It may sometimes hurt but we still attribute it precious
Others claim love sets free, but we tend to be possessive
It is something ever delightful and yet so afflictive.

Love gives our soul an unparalleled happiness
But it can also trap us in a labyrinth of distress
Love strengthens our heart and takes away our fears
But it can also weaken our spirit and leave us with tears.

Love appears to bring about paradoxical corollaries
Just a thought of it presents a clash between two realities.
Is it an insidious curse or a heavenly gift?
