Day one, I clearly remember
Friday afternoon, in a cold December
Eric, well dressed came to me and said
This guy from the Philippines he'll be acquainted
Might go out tonight then, I responded
Shall be prepared, us were both excited
That same evening, Eric went back to my place
With sparkling eyes and big smile on the face

Standing next to him, was the Filipino guy
I was speechless, ddnt know what to say
Christian is a cute date, and so as my mate
We went out to party from morning till dawn
What happen the next day, up to you to cogitate
They departed for a break for quite a long time
Traveled to places, dealt with their businesses for a while
When they came back, a bolt from the blue
Too many changes for their good have occurred
My neighbour always cheery, rainbows and butterflies everyday I see
Would hum a song, recite funny poems
Busy with text messages, cannot live without his phone
Calmness and serenity cant be denied
Arent these signs? in cloud nine, he flies..
Tired from school work, he doesnt mind
Thinking of that afternoon is another good time
They cook, they shop, they do a lot of things together
So proud and grateful, well relaxed, feelin lighter
Frustrating thoughts and outlook, my neighbour ignores
Fine way of thinking, he practices more
These two after some ups and downs
Has found themselves in each others arms
Mutually devoted, caring and committed
To each other, they never take advantage
People may judge, may not understand
whatever they say, they dont really care
me as a friend,ever since had no doubts
They will survive a game called love
