The Rain

by Bare My Paradox   Jun 16, 2008

Pitter Patter on the ground
A refreshing smell,a reviving sound
The wildflowers rejoice,the crops prosper
As cheerful drops in the air, twirl around

Petals decorated with nature's tears
With sweetness gathered over the years
Frail patterns on window panes
Oh Lord! I adore thy sweet rains

Life awakes once more
As Grey clouds knock my doors
Creations of lord, they sing so bright
Smiling and admirable every sight

Enhancing the beauty,clearing the mist
Come the rains, like a unexpected kiss
Altruistic drops, spreading relief
The drops so tiny, the joy so deep

You have a nice poem here, very nice. I have always found that the nature section of this web site produces some really good poetry and yours is no exception. Much better than the love section sometimes where I think the same words and ideas get used over and over again to the point of exhaustion. This section brings fresh new ideas for almost every line. I think you have found the right words to make the expression of your thoughts come to life and bring the real meaning of it to life. Good work…
