The beauty of this routine

by Mia   Jun 21, 2008

Lets take a ride
through the country
see the daisies, tulips, roses
they are ours to take
back to the city
we will put them for sale
on a street corner maybe
next to a man
with mangoes and tangerines
reading the morning paper
when the day is done
we will climb the stairs
and pour drinks
on my crimson throne
i will sit
and over look
the new York skyline
while you spill
your heart, guts and drink
over all 88 ivory keys
