You Were the One

You were the one that caught me when I fell,
You were the one that gave me a story to tell.
You were the one that made me see,
How important my life could be.

Beyond the stars and beyond the dreams,
You are always my first thought so it seems.
My heart is healing slowly,
My mind is going crazy.

Every time I see you,
I can't breathe.
Every time I come near you,
I can't speak.

You take every breath I breathe away,
You take my heart & make my day.
You are always there for me,
No matter what happens.

The day you caught me I felt as if my heart was full,
I never thought that I would find someone as awesome as you.
My heart started beating & my words were lost,
I can't believe that you are the one for me.

My dreams that I have are finally coming true,
And each one is all about you.
You are the love of my life,
And no one can ever take your place.
