I can only hope to be as good as you. This was so cool. I notice how you can change from one style to another. I've not gotten there yet.
This flowed so well, and an enjoyable read. Plus a ring of truth.

Finally you wrote a new poem! Yay!.

    "All in favour, say I

On the blood fields they cry
    Young men needlessly die
For the black death we buy"

In this stanza I loved the first line, I can see clearly its about the death of war. "Blood fields" This is honest and true. Its as if you were there watching this happen as you wrote this poem.

    "(Ask yourself why?)"

I like how you have this after both first and second stanza. It makes me think, makes me question everything that goes on around war. I've never really thought of why, just how it happens and that it shouldn't. Another eye opening poem by Mr Darcy.

    "Dictators in disguise
    Through crooked smiles they lie"

This was amazing, I've never lived through any dictatorship, it finished before I was born thankfully. But I've known people that lived through it and they said that you can actually see the lies in their eyes. You can see how they feel like an open book as they give orders to do as they please.

    "Stand up tall and defy
    Shout out NO, in reply!
    Blow their warfare sky-high."

Standing up for yourself is one thing that we all should do, and you showed that clearly in this poem. Stop war, is a clear message in my head after reading this poem. Stand up and stop it. amazing.

"Do I need to ask why?"

This has to be my favorite line in the poem. Not because of the line but because of the fact that you kept saying "Ask yourself why" and that makes me think. Then after your telling us to stand up for ourselves you finally say "Do I need to ask why?" because we already no. It was poetry at its finest.

I'm glad your back to writing again. Keep it up so I have more to comment on ;)

This was definatly a different side that i have never seen. i have never really read any of your life poems, not sure if you have in the past. but.. i think it was a really good thing that you are challenging yourself with the different topics on here. " Ask yourself why?" I loved that repetitiveness in the poem. it was very effective throughout the entire poem. this poem was very well written, and I loved reading something different from you. keep writing, i look foward to new pieces very soon. :] nice work. 5/5.
