Heaven

by Mason   Jun 25, 2008

Heaven.
That is where I was today.
There were no puffy clouds, no Pearly Gates, no divine powers.
Just a bed, two pillows, and Her.
It was all I could ever ask for, all I could ever want
Ironically enough,
we were fighting, wrestling.
It was in a playful manner, but wrestling nonetheless.

I should probably say that we were fully clothed; as to not create the wrong picture
But I wouldn't have had it any other way.
For there was a moment.
A moment where her head rested on my chest, as we laid there, giggling softly.
I could smell her fragrant shampoo,
I could see her beautiful hair,
I could feel her chest rising ever so softly with each breath
Two friends, sharing a single moment in time.
A moment deeper than two could ever share
A moment as perfect as could be
A moment I would not give the world for
For Her it was like any day, but for the me...
For me it was,
Heaven.

Awwww i like this poem alot.. as soon as i read a few lines i started smiling..

it was beautiful.. although i didnt really like the birthday suit part. i think it just didnt make the poem the best it could be.

i see this as more of a story than a poem.

    but it was great. 5/5
