What does love mean to me
It’s a hot summer day sitting in a tree
It is sunlight making the most beautiful flower
It is a brightest light in your most darkest hour
A wonderful highlight to a tortuous day
Someone to smile at you in their own special way
Other times love makes your heart feel so hollow
A puddle of mud that appears so shallow
An emptiness that cannot be described
Feeling lost in a forest without a guide
The feeling of abandon each and every day
The endless ache in your stomach that won’t go away
To have a balance love has to be good and bad
Makes you appreciate the good love that you had
I would love to be loved completely and fully
By someone who appreciates my love and its beauty
Without a worry of will it be taken away from me
To just have love and to just be
