At Each Other's Sides

I felt like trying to write a poem in Japanese (My English translation for each line on the side in parenthesis). If you spot any problems in the translation or grammar of the Japanese, please let me know so I can improve. I was trying to write it for my girlfriend and I was trying to write a sonnet with my limited (4 semesters) knowledge of Japanese... what do you think? I may put a Kanji copy up once I have a friend look over it and see how it looks.

watashi no kanojo, watashi no ai... (My girlfriend, my love...)
kokoro de kono kimochi wa tsuyoi. (This feeling in my heart is strong.)
kono ai de, wasurenai... (I will never forget this love...)
anata no kissu wa ii ni oi. (Your kisses taste good.)

itsu mo, anata ni ai shite imasu... (I will always love you...)
anata wa watashi no hontou no ai. (You are my true love.)
itsuka anata wo kekkon shimasu... (someday I will marry you...)
kono nichi wa dame ja nai. (That day cannot be bad.)

tokidoki anata wa chotto baka desu kedo... (Sometimes you are silly but...)
anata no kosei ga daisuki. (I love your personality.)
tokidoki chotto namida arimasu kedo... (Sometimes you cry...)
ato de anata no egao ga daisuki. (but afterwards, I love your smile)

itsumo watashi wa anata no hou ni imasu, (I will always be at your side,)
itsumo anata wa watashi no hou ni imasu. (You will always be at my side)
