PATIENCE part 2

by jay   Jul 1, 2008

Her heart was broken, and her will was gone
her life without him just couldn't go on.
She gathered the pills from over the sink,
and embraced them all, without water to drink.
Together they had to be, he had her heart,
and as long as the stars shined, they'd never be apart.
Her heart finally stopped, beating its last beat,
and quietly she fell, into her eternal sleep.
2 days later, there was a knock at the door,
and her mother answered, to see him back from war.
He asked where she was, and her mother began to cry,
and through tear strained sobs, she muttered" she died"
"We heard on the news, that you died in battle,
and when she heard it was you, that she couldn't handle."
He couldn't say a word, just tears fell from his eyes,
and the only thing he could say was,

same name....different guy.
Thanx for reading guys.
