Holding on

Can't let go
cant lose sight
have to keep going forward
have to defend my right.

I'm holding on so dear
to myself and my dignity
Holding on so tight to my morals
and my beliefs.
I'm holding on, holding on to my heart.

My heart is fragile, it will break very easily now that someone has taken a hammer to it!

I used to be able to love and not be afraid, but since then I'm scared that every guy will hurt me like he did!

I'm not blaming you; just being cautious and tightly holding on.
