Before

by InvisiblyHeartless   Jul 2, 2008

Why were you the only one
Courageous enough to take it
Or as I say, are you stupid
I'm not who you think I am
I am someone much worse child
And I'll kick your butt any day
You took the only honest thing
In my dirty and disgraceful body
I need it back or I will die
For it is the only thing large enough
To hold the pain I carry with me
Give it back before its war
'Cause this is one game I've played before

It isn't a toy that can be glued
No, not even super glue can fix this
You played a game with my heart
And took it somewhere I can't find
Cupid said for me to say I need it back
You won't pay for the cost of damages
It's a dangerous game baby, for sure
I will take you captive and make you
The prisoner of my love, kept in a box
Then you can't escape from me
Since you started the tug-of-war
It's going to be mine again, baby
There is not a doubt about it boy
This is one game I've played before

*this is not a poetry skills piece. this is a vent my love for him who plays with my heart piece*

Wow, lex. This was good. It has a lot of anger and hurt in it, but that's good to see in poetry. It means your comfortable with expressing your emotions in art. Which is fawesome. good job. ^.^
