The Goddess of loss or shall I call it love?

by Sarah   Jul 2, 2008

Standing on the edge of time
looking far beyond what her eyes can strive
black silk hair playing aimlessly in the wind
wrapped in white satin, dressed like an ancient angelic Latin
A butterfly recently released from an old bottle of wine
humming a sorrowful melody along with a harmonious lullaby...
Blue tearful eyes, like an ocean deep and wide
her beauty shall capture your eye
your soul will long to fly, just to wipe away her cry !
Hush my angel
rest your head on mine
I shall end this pain and guide you through life
Don't run away my fairy
I know you're not a phantom of mine...

Some say it's a legend
others say it's a spell trapped in time.
But to unleash a secret that was kept in a rhyme
you must keep an open heart and mind
I'll tell something you'll consider a lie
Something not even I can buy?

My old man said it's true
she was a goddess whom failed to obey the rules
she loved a mortal who gave her a soul
rapped her from her crown of jewels
romance and passion were the dream
She followed her heart with no sense of shame
knowing that what she lost is nothing to compare
but no my dear you've evoked immortality and you shall pay the price..
trapped in time, forever you'll be
waiting like a devotee
never will you know the truth
he is what we've taken away from you
like a phantom you'll appear
sinking in a world full of fear
So tell us again, is he worth your love dear?
we've banished you from every plane
taste morality... feel the pain
His soul.. you won't gain

So if your suffering over loss
search no more, you've found the goddess of love !
