Let Me In

by linkhorizon   Jul 3, 2008

How can you stand being alone?
what good is your open door,
if you won't let me inside your stories?
all these thoughts i can't ignore

so afraid to open possiblities
you fail to compromise
plundering everything that meant anything to me
in your own demise

is my bedside still dressed?
afraid to drown under my blanket again
do your tears crash heavy,
engrave your chest with burden?

my anger crumbles to know
that you need me rare
burnt all the bridges i ever built
ripping out my heart in despair

holding parts and pieces
of my world you once conquered
imprisoned in your crystal globe
of eternal cries that go unheard
