The day started off
With a "hey how are you"
There were little answers back
but never nothing new
On this day though
Something had changed
He asked her out for a moonlight walk
So speechless, she stood there with no words to talk
She runs home to get ready
She has to look great
This will not be some ordinary date
He is finally here
Yet you are not done
You rush through your make up
Hoping it doesn't look that messed up
There he is with a big smile
This is the date , that shall last for a while
Here we are on our moonlight walk
There's so much to do
But not much to talk
This beautiful night
Everything must go right
We might finally be together
But good things just never last forever
