The Want and Fear of Love

by ShyandHurt   Jul 4, 2008

My heart bursts open like a volcano,
Bleeding the love I wish to so badly show you,
Your hand with hers breaks me further as I slump farther into my seat,
Grasping my backpack to my stomach so I don’t cry,
Her hostile look at me makes fear flick into my eyes and I turn away quickly,
In fear of the deathly gaze she holds to me,
You don’t notice as you continue on,
When you walk away my heart breaks further,
Just when I think we could be something,
She comes along and pulls you back,
Leaving me with a broken heart,
And a simply broken soul as well.
