Your Star

As I stand here, so far away,
Just looking to the skies,
I saw your star, it was shining bright,
The colour of your eyes.

I think my heart is going to stop,
When I leave, and you close that door,
Then when I'm home and see you again,
I know that I'm in love with you more.

I feel I am the luckiest man,
In the whole of this great space,
When I see the love you have for me,
Spreading over your lovely face.

So I wish this life, I could freeze in time,
Then we'd be together, and you would be mine,
But not for an hour, and not for a day,
Just only forever, until eternity.
